Did you know that we are surrounded by millions of bacteria?! Most bacteria are harmless, but some can make us sick. Scientists use antibiotics to kill harmful bacteria. However, some bacteria have traits that allow them to survive these medicines. These resistant bacteria can then multiply and spread, leading to what scientists call superbugs.
