The CAGIS Synapse Award for STEM Innovation celebrates girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth who have demonstrated their passion for STEM (science, technology, trades, engineering, or mathematics) through innovation (i.e. an invention, a project, a publication in a youth science journal, etc.). The innovation can be large (e.g. a new medical invention) or small (e.g. a new pollinator corridor in a community).

Eligibility: Girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth residing in Canada; aged 7-17 as of September 24, 2022
