CAGIS is testing an in-person Teen Ambassadors Program in Oakville, Ontario. If you would like to be considered for the Oakville Teen Ambassadors program, please complete the form below.
If you would like to be considered for both the CAGIS Oakville and the CAGIS Virtual Teen Ambassadors programs, please complete this form and select the appropriate option for program consideration at the bottom of the form.
Teens! We want you! Join the CAGIS Oakville Teen Ambassadors Program.
This program is for girls and gender-diverse teens across Canada in high school, with interest in science, technology, trades, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).

Attend a minimum of six in-person events throughout the year, located in or near Oakville (Sept-May)*

Attend periodic Teen Ambassadors meetings to share your thoughts and opinions (online and in-person).

Share your experiences with CAGIS periodically in written and/or video form. A subset may be shared publicly with your permission (optional).

Be an ambassador for CAGIS among your peers within the CAGIS sessions and, if you feel comfortable, online on social media.

Work on special projects with CAGIS and other Teen Ambassadors.

There may be additional optional opportunities throughout the year.
*CAGIS Oakville in-person events occur monthly on weekends and sometimes weekday evenings. They do not have a set schedule because we often visit real labs and field sites with STEM professionals, so we need to adjust to their availability/lab hours. You will be responsible for your own transportation to these in-person events.
