Chapter Membership

$75 per year; $35 per sibling per year

Membership lasts for one full year from the date of purchase and can be purchased at any time of year

  • Membership includes invitations to 8-10 in-person local events
  • Events take place monthly, on select evenings and weekends
  • Most events are 1.5-2 hours long
  • Events are led by STEM experts and CAGIS volunteers
  • Events typically occur at a different STEM location each month and include a hands-on activity

Virtual Membership

$200 per year; $50 per sibling per year

Membership lasts for one full year from the date of purchase and can be purchased at any time of year

  • Membership includes invitations to 26-28 online events per year (Sept-May)
  • Events take place weekly, on Saturdays at 11 am ET (ages 7-12) and 1 pm ET (ages 11-16)
  • Each event is 1 hour
  • Events are led by a STEM expert and a CAGIS instructor
  • Events include an introduction to the topic and a hands-on activity

  • Membership includes all the benefits of a Chapter membership and a Virtual membership

If you would like to join CAGIS but cannot because of financial hardship, please visit this form to request waived membership fees.

Chapter memberships include invitations to 8-10 local events per year. COVID safety precautions will be in place during the 2023-2024 program.

Virtual memberships include invitations to events held on most Saturdays from late September to early June, 24-28 events annually.

You may purchase memberships in more than one chapter. Please note that memberships are non-refundable. If your family moves, or you need to transfer membership between chapters for some other reason, there is no charge for this. *** Halifax membership is geared towards ages 10-16.
