Windsor November 2022 – Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS)

Have you ever had a throat swab or blood test taken at the doctor’s office?  Did you wonder where it was sent to be analysed?  Millions of these tests are done in Canada every year by medical laboratory professionals.  At this event, you’ll get to tour a real medical laboratory and try two actual lab techniques: chromatography, and testing a sample for blood type.

This event is for girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth.
