Victoria December 2022 – Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS)

At this hands-on event, you’ll build a device or toy that makes a difference!  According to Statistics Canada, 80% of people living with a disability use an assistive device to increase their independence, and 27% need at least one more! Join experts at Makers Making Change and put our STEAM skills to the test.  Try soldering and wire stripping to create solutions that support community members with disabilities. The toys and devices we make will be donated to local community groups who need them! So let’s get hacking!

This event is for girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth.
