Join CAGIS by Lake Ontario at one of the best places for bird-watching in the city, with more than 300 recorded species! Youth will learn how to use binoculars, how to identify birds, and how they can contribute their bird observations to a world-wide citizen science program called eBird. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for Great Horned Owls, Mute Swans, Hawks, Woodpeckers, and many types of waterfowl. As we walk the trails, we will also explore for signs of other wildlife who live in the park.
This event is for girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth.
