Let’s Code Together! Virtual Ecosystems for ages 7-11
Have you ever wanted to create your own video games? We’ll explore two areas of STEM at this event — environmental science and coding! Using Scratch, an online block-coding software, you’ll create your own video game while learning about ecosystems. Add in characters and backgrounds and code them to interact with one another. You will learn about programming concepts like loops and sequences. Let’s code together!

3D Modelling the Heart for ages 11-16
Did you know that biomedical engineers use 3D modelling? 3D modelling is a powerful tool that can be used to help engineers visualize parts of the human body for research, before surgery, and even when designing prosthetics! Learn the basics of 3D modelling and get an introduction to biomedical engineering and why engineers use 3D models.
