Guelph-February-2023 – Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS)
Ice cream can be made in many different flavours.

Ice cream is a delicious, sweet treat, but did you know there’s a lot of science behind it? Visit the University of Guelph’s Food Science Department, and learn about the importance of the ingredients in the ice cream mix, as well as the types of freezers used. You’ll get the opportunity to use a semi-electric ice cream maker to freeze some ice cream.

This event is for girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth.
