There’s lots going on with CAGIS across Canada!

• New chapters have started in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Mississauga, Ontario, bringing the total number of chapters up to 11.
  • The Halifax chapter is run by WISEatlantic, led by program coordinator Sally Marchand.
  • The Mississauga chapter, led by Urfa Arain, launched with a developmental neurobiology event where members got to learn about fruit flies’ brains at the University of Toronto, Mississauga.
• A community-based chapter, run by Lotus STEMM, will be launching in the GTA on March 28, and will support girls in the South Asian community who are interested in science, technology, engineering, math and medicine. The chapter will be run by Lotus STEMM director Roopali Chaudhary, along with Priya Iyer, Udani Sen and Varsha Iyer.
